I was recently searching frantically for some good music. These days due to quarantine, I have been revisiting some of my old favorite songs. This is a kind of therapy for me to deal with all negativity all around in this period of physical and mental isolation.
Then I remembered this amazing channel on YouTube called Dymnk, which I used to listen to like 2-3 years ago..
This was the channel where I had found some really interesting music and artists earlier too.
So I right away checked out their lastest releases and clicked on a song called Azee – Fahrenheit (lyrics).
And boy, It was amazing. Simply blew my mind away.
What I liked about the song?
I have always been an admirer of lyrics that actually mean something and at the same time have a certain level of uniqueness to it.
The lyrics to this song was really fresh along with the music. Sounded pretty good. I could imagine someone singing this song to a person who they value but couldn’t have but at the same time she/ he is not really sad about it because she/he is just living in the moment. And being grateful for the fact that they got someone for the moment. That’s what I have interpreted from the line – “If it’s meant to fall apart , I wanna let you stay the night. ”
This is how the lyrics go
Azee -Fahrenheit (lyrics)
Tell me what you see Do the flowers grow? Or are they ghosts in a world we once called our home? Do we have a chance? Or was it all in vain? Maybe if the sky falls now I won’t have to know
Fahrenheit Something’s telling me we’re running out of time Make it right If it’s meant to fall apart I wanna Let you stay the night Do it one more time the way you did before Compromise Give me this before you go
Was it just a dream? Am I in too deep? Did I choose to read the truth with my eyes closed Fire climbs the trees Bullets graze the floor The damage has been done there’s no Righting our wrongs Fahrenheit
Fahrenheit Something’s telling me we’re running out of time Make it right If it’s meant to fall apart I wanna Let you stay the night Do it one more time the way you did before Compromise Give me this before you go Fahrenheit Fahrenheit
It’s like poetry when you just read it alone without the music. Pretty good work.
Azee’s voice really has an interesting texture to it – kinda like a smooth mellow flavour that hits you long after it’s gone. Girl sure deserves better attention for the talent she’s got.
I do think it’s really important for music lovers to be really supporting and appreciating to the vast sea of talented artists who keep struggling everyday to get their work recognized. While people only chose to mainstream music, often they get overshadowed.
The music has kind of like a slow chill vibe to it, with a cool beat that’s not overpowering. Something you can put on repeat for hours and not get bored or overpowered.
More from Her!
So, After this song hit me good, I decided to check out the artist herself. And searched for Azee herself on YouTube. Surprisingly , I found this song to be released just a week ago on her own channel.
Excited, I checked out the video right away, and she hit the mark this time too. No mess just a music video that could capture the mood of music and lyrics and put it in visuals. And she’s looks just as pretty as she sounds. Subbed, without a second thought.
I was hoping she had more songs, but couldn’t find any moreon her channel sadly. So I headed over to Spotify, And Bam There She was!
I was happy for my discovery. All her songs have that quality. But right now Fahrenheit really got me hooked. And you guessed it right, I’m listening to it as I’m writing about it. MUSIC IS A THERAPY ,INDEED!
